Um...I dunno? Sometimes fun characters just pop up. Originally Alf was just going to be another scamp running around St. Giles. I never intended that she be more than a walk-on character, but she kind of grew on me. ;-).
Alf is 23.

Ok, this probably is unusual, but I really would like to read a story about Penelope Chadwicke as the main character! I mean, normally the mean girl never get a book for herself, but it would be nice to see this character develop to something more. Is there any possibility that in the future we might see her own story?

I'd like to start writing historical romance but once i sit down to it, i come to a realization that i know absolutely nothing about the era. So i guess my real question is how much research do you have to do before even beginning to write? or are you just a time traveling genius? :)
