What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Allan Avidano I believe it was Henry James who said it best when delivering a lecture to aspiring writers. Apparently James got to the podium and asked the audience (and I paraphrase): "So, you would like to be writers..." to which many heads began nodding. James replied, "Well then go home and write," and with that he walked off the stage. There is no better advice.
