Hello Natasha!
Ooh, what a great question. Actually, I love both the research and writing process equally, but they are very different. During the research phase I become a detective and spend years investigating, interviewing, and tracking down information. It's very organized and detailed. During the writing phase I do a lot of contemplative and reflective thinking. I spend time thinking about the characters, listening to them speak and come to life.
The writing process is imaginative and creative and the research process is organized and detailed. Hope that makes sense!

For our school reader, we had to read between shades of gray. I finished it because it was so intriguing. The vivid imagery was amazing! May I ask, why did you include a first-love romantic element in it? What inspired you to write it in? Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
