How did you come up with all of the names in "Inkheart?" Dustfinger and Capricorn for example, are very unique names.

Cornelia Funke These names came to me, Sophie. They just showed up in my head and I wrote them down (of course Dustfinger was Staubfinger, as I write in German) But others take their time and I have to leaf through many name dictionaries, history books, plant name dictionaries etc to finally feel that prickling on my skin that tells me: yes, this is the right name!:)
