David Dalglish If (and this is a massive 'if) I ever were to set a book specifically in the west, around Mordeina, similar as to what I've done with Shadowdance in the east, I'd probably take a hard look at the Bloodcrafts and use them as a focal point for spreading out. But specifically about them? Doubtful. That'd involve leaping backward in time yet again for like, the fifty billionth time.

This question is a tad personal, but I'm rather curious so I figured I'd try and ask anyway. When did your books really start to takeoff (sales wise)? Did you immediately gain traction with your first book Weight of Blood or did it take a few books? I'm a big fan and I've devoured most of your work.
