Happy Holidays!! I just ordered another one of your books (Blind Fall)!! I tried to read 100 novels from July 14, 2014 to July 14, 2015. I fell somewhat short. How do you feel about the solitary aspect of writing?

It's imperative to stay connected to people who nourish your spirit, even if it's just by phone. And to have a cut off time each day so you can step back and disconnect. The reason the solitary aspect can be challenging is because writers often have obsessive natures. Whatever they focus on gets bigger in their minds. Without others around to pull focus, a solitary writer needs to find a way to shift that focus on their own power, especially if they write primarily dark material.

I hate that you cannot edit your answers, I noticed typos in mine as well...... I would like to know if you have read any of your mother's books (apart from the mum's porn you attempted to read on your radio show! That was hilarious btw) and do you think having famous parents has helped your career or actually made you feel as if you have to prove you can do it on your own?
