Hi Mathieu --
I have not yet received an offer from a French publisher for the book, so, not soon. (It would have to be licensed, then translated, then go through the publication process -- this usually takes a year or more.) Translations are a "buyer's market", thus not up to me.
bests, Lois.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
Lois, what is your personal favorite cover of all your books' covers, and why? Maybe you might demur on the question out of fear of inadvertently disparaging some artist or another, but it doesn't have to be the cover with the best art per se, but simply your own personal favorite for what might be a sentimental or personal reason?

I can understand you not wanting to write another book. I was rereading Brother in Arms and Mirror Dance; seems they would have been intense. And all your newer books are full sized. Have you thought about a series of short stories or novellas to continue the Miles universe? A little Miles, a little Simon or Alys, a little Cordelia, a little Ivan, a little Gregor? Or even focus on little stories about their children?

Are you excited about the new Star Wars movie? Planning to see it in theaters? What do you think of Star Wars as a universe/mythology/saga of stories in general? Thanks for your books, they've given me hours of meaningful entertainment and inspired a few great potential name ideas for children and/or pets (I really want a Persian cat named Simon Ilyan).
