A Night Divided came from a friend of my family's who was born into East Germany. At age 5, her family decided to escape, which involved her parents crossing the border in the less heavily guarded countryside, and our friend being smuggled across in the baggage car of a train, right beneath the noses of East German soldiers. When I heard her story, I knew a story had to be written in tribute to the brave citizens who endured life behind the wall for 28 long years.

Okay, so this is kinda weird because I don't have a question but it requires me to put a question mark so here: ?. I just wanted to say that I've read so many books in my life, and out of all of them the Ascendance series is my most favorite series of all time. I love the character Jaron and all of your crazy plot twists, ecspecially in the first book. I just want to say you are an amazing author!!!! :)
