I've never experienced it. Pretty much if I'm stuck on a story, I move to a different scene to jog things loose or write down whatever drek comes to mind and then go back to edit it. When I look at it the next day, I alway discover something there worth keeping. I go by the Norah Roberts' maxim: You can't edit an empty page.

Like many others, I absolutely loved Rough Canvas and was hopeful that we would one day also be blessed with an audio version. Is there anything that can be done to encourage a re-recording using a male narrator? I know these things cost money and I'd be willing to put in fund raising efforts to have this story brought to life but in a voice more similar to how I hear it in my head.
