How do you begin writing your novels? Do you plan it out by writing an outline, or just write down what comes to your mind?

Kendare Blake My novels like to keep it spicy. Each one is a little different and wants to be handled in its own way. But so far, none have been completely outlined. I think a long time about the story and characters (sometimes years) until I know them well and they start to demand being written. When I start I might know only a few chapters ahead, plus a few major plot points. But I will have a good feel for everyone, so they go, and I follow.
