I figure that you get asked a lot of questions about your books and while I have many, I thought I would switch it up a bit by asking something a little more random. Who is your favourite Doctor and why?

Shaun David Hutchinson That's so tough! I'm actually really loving the current incarnation played by Peter Capaldi. I like that they've made him a little more serious and alien. I think he'd probably be my favorite if I didn't pretty much hate a lot of the directions Steven Moffat has taken the show. He's a great Doctor without a great storyline to go along with it.

But my favorite will probably always be David Tennant. Partially because he managed the goofiness of Matt Smith with the seriousness of Peter Capaldi effortlessly; partially because he was the first Doctor I watched from the New Who; but mostly because his season with Catherine Tate is my favorite season of all time. The Doctor and Donna were, for me, the very best partners in crime NuWho has created. Their chemistry was outstanding, and I think they really brought out the best in each other.
