What did you base Keeper of the Lost Cities on? I can kind of relate it to Harry Potter, but I don't know if you got that inspiration from that or something else?

My two huge inspirations were my love of Legolas from the Lord of the Rings, and my love for X-Men. I wanted to write about elves like Tolkien's elves, that were beautiful and powerful and sort of a "superior creature" but I didn't want them to rely on magic, and I didn't want them to live in such a medieval world. That's where the X-Men inspiration comes in. I love how the X-Men get their abilities from their genetics (in their case, mutation) and how each one of them has a different ability and how Xavier's Academy helped them control their power. I sorta smashed all that together and out popped KEEPER. ;)

How many Keeper books do you think there will be? And, sorry to keep asking questions (I just love your books so much!), but what is the chance of a movie of it? (High, maybe, low)? I understand that you're waiting for the 'right' movie makers. *Gasps* has Disney ever contacted you yet? (And I say YET because I believe there is a good chance!)
