Hi! I just finished Fury. I loved Blur a lot. I have two questions. 1) Where did you get the idea for Blur? 2) When is the final book in the trilogy coming out?

Steven James I was thinking about what it would be like to lose touch with reality and then also have to solve a crime while that was happening. I wanted something with life and death stakes, but told in a way that the narrator couldn’t be sure what was real and what wasn’t. I actually thought about writing this book for nearly five years before I finally went ahead with it. It was a fun ride and didn’t end at all like I thought it was going to. Just this week I completed the third book in the trilogy. Curse releases in May.

I just wanted to say that I originally started reading your books first, then I got my mother sucked into reading the series, and then my father got interested and he binge-read in a matter of two weeks. We're all wondering if you will continue the Patrick Bower series , even though you have the Blur Trilogy and other's in the works?

Hi Steven, a spin off series about Tessa might do well ... especially if she'll need to ask Patrick for help, reversing their roles ... but as I'm not quite finished with Check Mate yet (another 100 or less pages to go, good stuff), this idea might not be a good one after all. Viable?
