Hi Robyn - How do you story board and decide how many characters to include in each book such as the Virgin River series? Thanks & keep writing! I enjoy the strong women and men you share with us.

Robyn Carr I don't story board. I don't plot my books in advance -- I start on page one and write. That means a lot of revisions and changes, but I like watching the story evolve in the same way a reader will. And I trust my instincts to know how many characters are too many or not enough. I think I'm playing by ear rather than following the score.

When do you feel it's time to end a series? As a reader I never want to see "the last book" in a series but I know all good things come to an end and hopefully another series begins. Can't wait to get my hands on The Life She Wants! Thanks, Rhonda
