Hi Miss Blake! I adored Anna Dressed In Blood and Girl Of Nightmares, and i frequently check them out from my schools library. What was your inspiration for them?

Kendare Blake Thank you! And thank you to your library for having them. That's excellent. Anyhow, the inspiration for Anna was a simple desire to write something gory. You know, entrails. Dismemberment. Heads flying every which way. Girl of Nightmares continued that, with the added bonus of my getting to spend more time with Cas & Co.
