Colleen Houck I actually wanted to set the book in Russia. I chose the white tiger for my beast, in a Beauty and the Beast themed book and wanted a handsome prince. After I started researching the tiger, I realized the book needed to be set in India. It was a bit intimidating but ultimately there were so many stories and myths to pull from that it all came together in a surprising way.

Guess that makes me a Savvy reader. Lol. I've noted a few things, but I'm sure I'll see more as I re-read them down the line. I'm trying to grasp a lot of how you do this and what you do so I can try and emulate a bit of it myself, but my prime failing in crafting the words is in the fact that my focus is so...divided.
