In my latest book franchise, Salvage-5, the crew is sent out to discover why the CSMO (Complete Self-Contained Mining Operation), when silent. On this year, 2064, Earth's resources are dwindling so the need to venture out to mine the asteroid field for resources becomes common. The technology is believable in this story because I've kept it as realistic as I possible.
