Christine, I just love how your stories are part of you and how they speak to you. Your comment is wonderful; "I wait for each character to speak to me. I don't just choose and then write the story, though I do try to do that sometimes. But, let me tell you, some characters just won't leave me alone until I get their story out. " Do you have a general plan as to what series you'll be working on in a given year?

Christine Feehan I really try to mix it up so that no series goes too long without a book. My readers are very committed to me and I am to them, so I write as quickly as I can and do as many books in a year as I can. The publisher may ask for a certain book in a series and I try to work with them to deliver that. It's part of being a professional that you listen to your publisher. But, mostly I try to keep things even with all the series.
