Hello Mrs. Funke, One of my favorite parts from the InkWorld books was whenever one of the Silvertounges would read out a famous character/object from the famous books of our world. Since there were so many different possibilities of books for Meggie, Mo, Orpheus, etc. to read aloud from, how did you decide which ones to use for the story? Also, were there any books you almost considered using instead? Thanks:)

wonderful question, Dani!:) It's quite a few years ago that I wrote the Inkbooks but as far as I remember i chose quite spontaneously - whatever came to my mind first. I just tried to choose from books that most readers knew - both in Germany and the other countries I am published in. As I grew up with quite different books from, f.e., British and American children, that excluded some of my favorite books. But I used some of them for the quotes!:)

Hello Cornelia! I have been a fan of your books ever since I was a child. I just wanted to ask if any of your other books will be made into movies?
