How do you get inspired to write?

Lydia Sherrer My first forays into writing was less the result of inspiration as it was of biological imperative. If you read enough, telling your own stories is a natural next step. I'd spent so much time reading, and my imagination was so vivid, there were already dozens of stories running through it by the time I was fourteen or so. I started writing to de-clutter my head and get some of those ideas on paper.
