You can't change someone's mind about a book, especially if they won't take the time to read it. What is helpful is to explain to your friend what you like about it.

How many years difference is there between the Kingfountain series and the Harbinger series? Is there some relationship between characters from Kingfountain and the Harbinger series? I thought I possibly recognized a name... Kiskaddon that was also mentioned in Harbinger series? The guy that tried to kidnapped Cetti and claimed to be her father?
