Swanangel15's Book Review
Swanangel15's Book Review asked Robyn Carr:

Do all of your books have the same pattern, or do you write a variety of books? (E.g romance, historical romance, thriller, e.t.c)

Robyn Carr I began my career writing historical romance, wrote only one thriller and now have found my home in two genres -- contemporary romance and women's fiction. And the line definitely blurs between them for so many reasons. First of all, women's fiction is made up of women's issues and romance is a woman's issue, but in most contemporary romance it is at least the central or primary issue. In women's fiction, the romance will take a back seat to other important issues that range from parenting, health, relationship crises like divorce, widowhood, etc -- anything that will compromise a woman's security and happiness because she's a woman. It's all in the weight of the plot -- is it more women's fiction than romance? Or more romance than women's fiction?
