Hi Christine! First let me say that you are an amazing author for building an entire language for your Dark series! Second, I'm Romanian(well I guess Carpathian) and I do appreciate how you do portray the amazing nature( very close to reality) in the books. My questions are: who is helping you with Romanian language when you need to use it? Second, why is not the Carpathian language more influenced by Romanian?

I believe in doing deep research for all of my books. I sent my daughter and her husband to the Carpathian Mountains and surrounding areas to get pictures and to experience the land so they can help me create a reality as true as possible.
The Carpathian language was created by someone for me. We worked on it years ago and he is an expert in this field. It was important that the language be as unique to the Carpathian people as possible and that included the root, history and sound of it.

Hi Christine, Biggest congratulations on all your amazing books! What an achievement! My question is, what are 2 BEST things an aspiring fiction writer can do to let people know about their book? You have done so incredibly well. I'd love some advice. Best of luck with the new book, I can't wait to read it when it comes out. :-)
