Thanks for this interesting question. I'm so glad you enjoyed "Between Shades of Gray."

If I could change anything in the novel I would change the character of the bald man just a slight bit. I intended for readers to see him as a hero but I think I missed the mark on that a bit. Thanks for asking! :)

(My grandmother actually recommended it to me) All of your books seem to contain settings that we don't seem to hear a lot about, especially during the time frames you focus in on.
