Never give up! Seriously! Even when you doubt yourself (and you will) it's important to find another writer/author friend who will push you and believe in you when those scared feelings start to creep back in. It also helps if they are brutally honest about your writing because it only makes you better. I just got lucky and have all of that in one person!
