What did you think of the movie, 'Cirque Du Freak; The vampires assistant'? Did it capture the base of the story for you?

Darren Shan I liked it for what it was, though obviously I would have preferred it if it had been more faithful to the books. I think it worked better for people who hadn't read the books -- it gave them a taste of what my vampire world was like, and then they could come read the books and get the whole show. If you'd read the books first, I think it was less impactful.
