I love the Reckless series, so forgive the cheeky question: Did Orlando Tennant get his name because you pictured him as a blend of Orlando Bloom and David Tennant, both romantic, slender actors, one known for a very blond role?

Cornelia Funke He is actually not a blend, Gabi!:) He IS David Tennant, my all time favorite doctor. I only called him Orlando, because I love the name (and I love the virginia woolf homage Orlando to Vita Sackville West, so another playful reference here:))
