That's awesome! I just finished number three and started Destiny last night and am most of the way through it now. It broke my heart when Mr. Kadam...well, you know. Best to try my best not to spoil anything for people reading this! Do you base some of what you write on events from your own life? I've learned that a grain of truth should go into any story.

Yes I add real things all the time. Ren asking Kelsey for permission to kiss her the first time was from my own life. My husband, Brad, asked permission and, like Kelsey, I said no.

I was re-reading the Tiger's Curse series and was always visualizing Mr. Kadam, possible looks for a great character. I remember seeing the director for the film and I could definitely see the character in him. But then, there's Amitabh Bachchan, one of my favorite actors. Did you have an Indian actor or model in mind when you were describing Kadam?
