I am super excited to read our books. So much so that I have entered every giveaway that is open at this time. I read the other questions and comments first before asking my question and also wanted to thank you for sharing your artistic abilities with others. Do you think that being a psychiatrist has given you more insight into what and how you write?

Jacob M. Appel I think being a psychiatrist is a constant reminder of how close all of us are to the edge of sanity on a daily basis. In my fiction, I generally take my characters right up to the edge--but unlike with my patients, I can then give my characters a gentle push.

I am trying to explain how the reading felt. I am one of those who can smell feelings, see thoughts, feel words, taste moods, hear silence. Not sure was that means but it is a banquet of sensations and when I read something if it doesn't feed me I can't enjoy it. Your short story brought me to the table and I feasted in the surprises it offered! What do you think that means?
