Charlaine Harris Thanks, Alicia. I love to tell people about the reading I'm doing. I just finished "Burned" by Benedict Jacka. I am a huge fan of his, and I've enjoyed all of his Alex Verus series. Verus is a magician who can see all the possibilities of his actions just a few seconds into the future, which sounds like an odd talent. It comes in very handy for him! He isn't a popular guy for lots of reasons, and he has a lot of enemies and some very interesting friends. Great books.

I've read The Southern Vampire, Harper Connelly, Aurora Teagarden and Midnight Crossing series', and very much enjoyed them all. The paranormal aspect and unique, diverse characters hold my interest and keep me coming back. Harper is my favorite! I'm wondering though if you could rewrite a character or situation who or what would it be? And would that be from your consideration or input from fans or critics?

I see there is a new and improved book description for the book. Were you able to influence the publisher to change to original description? The new one is much more comprehensive.
