Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Pramudith D. Rupasinghe It was my father who was the secret behind my dream to come to Africa. His ‘Free-time stories’ about Africa gave birth to a dream for me to pursue. After three decades of dreaming I was able to reach Africa as a diplomat that was the point where the long lasted dream became a reality. When I reached Africa, the continent was not the same, not same as what I heard of. it had been transformed to a significant extent, simply many things were no like how they were described in ‘free-time stories’ but my father had already left this world by that time, I did not have a chance to tell him how his ‘free-time stories’ had brought me to Africa and how different Africa is, hence I thought of documenting the the journey of my dream in the continent of darkness, that was in reality a pursuit of ‘footprints’ in ‘obscurity’.
