Hi, Cornelia. I've been a big fan of your books since Elementary school (I'm now 19). I was just wondering if there was any talk of an Inkspell movie/tv show. I loved the Inkheart movie and wondered if that was something that would possibly happen or if you preferred to have them stay books? Thank you for sharing your magical worlds with us! :)

after nine movie adaptations, Shelby, I prefer to keep my books as books. To allow them to become movies feels like giving someone a magic carpet that you have woven for two years and getting back a napkin. I think tv shows have a better chance to do justice to a novel but I think I nevertheless prefer to have my books be books and create many movies in my readers' heads
