In your book, 'The Thief Lord', do you intend to convey that although Scipio has a very weak pesonality, he still is good at heart?

Cornelia Funke hm, interesting question. I am not sure Scipio is weak. He is unloved which makes him at times cold and detached from his feelings and others. But he is strong and bold and longs to protect and nourish others. I think he will do great things as a grown up:)
