Is there a reason why Capricorn is named after a Zodiac sign or did you just like the name Capricorn? He's once of my favorite antagonists and this question has been burning at my brain for awhile.

Cornelia Funke I just liked the name Mary. I realized that it is also a zodiac sign only many years later, as at the time I wrote Inkheart I still lived in germany where the sign is called Steinbock:)
