Kristan Higgins:
I just finished the Blue Heron series. This is the first thing I have read by you and it will not be the last. I actually got reprimanded at work for laughing too loudly while reading "In Your Dreams" (It was great). Is the Blue Heron series over? Do you write the series until you feel it is enough or does your publisher tell you how many books to write in the series (or whomever else would make decisions)?

I write until I feel like it's done. The BH series was supposed to be three books and turned into 5. Six would've felt contrived for some reason. You never know, though.

Kristan, I love how you are able to make your characters relatable to real life. I see a piece of myself in many of them. Another wonderful aspect of your books is that you are able to carry themes throughout all your books, for example –Ice Cream! I would love to know your favorite ice cream flavor.?Can’t wait to see if Jessica has one too!
