A Goodreads user asked Riley Amos Westbrook:

Where have you found are the best places to market your books?

Riley Amos Westbrook I actually don't do a lot of marketing. Most of my efforts are spent on blogging and writing, I figure the rest will sort itself out.
As for where I have found my greatest boosts in audience, though, I would say contact book bloggers. They're free, easy, and get your name all over the internet.
The second thing I would suggest, doing interviews. Anything really that links back to your books in any way.
Twitter is great for marketing, but requires a lot of time and effort. The more you support other authors on Twitter, the more they'll support you, so it is a lot of retweeting.
A better person to ask would be one Christina McMullen, she has been working the book marketing sites in an attempt to get a baseline of their effect on sales.
