Which point of view was easiest to write from? The adult or the child?

Hi Simone! Hmm. That's a tough question because I don't think either was "easy" per se. For, me it's more escapist to write from the perspective of characters who are very different from me. The more different, the greater escape. So to that extent I would say that Amelia's perspective might have been a bit more fun and hence "easier" Also, her sections were lighter, because they occur before the tragedy unfolds, allowing even me a little willful blindness about how things turned out.
