Hello! I first wanted to tell you that your series "Inkdeath" really moved me as a reader, I adore all of the wonderful characters you created. My question is, after the events of the third and final novel take place I'm left craving more of the story especially since some character's stories are just beginning in that book. Will you make a fourth novel, and if so, could you tell us some small things about it? Danke!

Yes, Samantha, I am actually working on it. It's called THE COLOR OF REVENGE and will take place 5 years after the events of Inkdeath. You'll meet all the main characters you know from the other books, and of course this is about Orpheus' revenge.

I was lucky enough to acquire InkSpell at a teacher's workshop. Of course I had to purchased Inkheart to read first. Since then, I have loved your books. I have seen some of the pictures you posted on Facebook, showing your notes. I was wondering when you are writing your first drafts, how many notebooks do you actually use per book?

Cornelia, Was there ever a time when you worried your work wasn't "literary" or "smart" enough? Or (conversely?) "marketable" or "accessible" enough? Are these necessary concerns for a writer? Or do you find them stifling? When these concepts start closing in, how do you work around or through them? Thanks.
