How long did it take for you to become published and how many rejections did you have before you were accepted? I am a new writer ....I have been rejected once...Haven't heard back from the other publishers. I have many authors that are friends and support me....love them!!!

Hi Ronnie,
I wrote over 10 books, for longer than 5 years, before I finally sold. Every book got rejected multiple times. In the "olden days" back when I was still unpublished, it wasn't uncommon to wait a year and a half to get a response once a book was submitted. Things are much more streamlined now, or so I've heard.
