No question just want to say I love your books and have read all of them out to date. When you start a book do you know it will be a series? Also do you prefer writing stand alone or series?

:-) You ended up asking two questions, Angie - and I'm happy to answer them.
Generally I know if I'm going to tie books together because I need that info to give to my publisher when signing contracts. BUT... I don't know exactly how many books, or specifically who all the characters will be. I flesh that out as I go along. Often in the very first book I meet secondary characters who explain to me that will most definitely be getting their own books. lol. Some characters are far pushier than others.
I don't really have a preference for stand alone books or series, but a great many do turn into related stories. I have very, very few books that aren't tied, in one way or another, to other stories.
