I have to say thank you for writing back when I wrote to you 15 years ago as an aspiring writer! I am now a library director and I guide people to your books everyday! What do you tell people who say the romance genre is fluff or worse?

Wow, 15 years. :-) I'm happy to say I still reply to every single email or FB message I get. That is, if I see it. Some things on FB get past me, so email is always the best bet.

I don't really go out of my way to defend the romance industry. I think too many people feel the need to "defend" any and everything. Because of that, life is full of conflicts. Rather, if someone said it to me, I'd just tell that person what *I* love about the genre, and leave it to him/her to accept that or not. ::shrug::
