Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Henry H. Neff The ideas for my current series, Impyrium, were born when I was finishing my last series, The Tapestry. I was curious how civilization would evolve in a world where some people can use magic, most cannot, and tenuous truce had been struck with other intelligent beings.
