Shannon Messenger Aw, thank you so much for loving my books! As for your question, I try not to say "never" to anything since I never know what will end up inspiring me--though I will admit that what you're specifically asking about (a spin-off that takes place *before* Sophie) doesn't have as much appeal to me. Personally, I find prequels to be....anticlimactic. You already know (from reading the books) who lives/who dies, who are the traitors and who aren't--plus all of the more interesting things that happened to the characters. So to write those stories would end up...flat. But again, it may be that down the road I come up with the perfect story to tell in that space, so I won't say 'never.' I'll leave it at, 'maybe.' :)
