I read your review of Death of a Thug and alot of things you said were on point unfortunately what you missed was the development of the characters and how situations matured them..it is a 420 pg book you were @ 1st major plot twist lol ...i only spoke ive read some of the things you have reviewed and always have and continue to respect your opinion finish i think youll reconsider pub errors lang aside? love ya work

J.S. Frankel First off, thanks for liking my work. I truly appreciate it.

As for my review, I do try and get through every book I choose to look over. Ninety-nine percent of the time, I do get through, even if the book isn't that great. I can only hope other readers will do the same for me.

My biggest problem with DOAT was not only the language--and I swear, too, but this was mind-numbing--but also the relatability to the characters. Agreed, perhaps I should have read at least halfway before rendering a verdict, but my thinking is if I can't find anything to grab onto during the first fifty pages--plot, characters, dialogue--then I figure it isn't worth it.

I will, however, consider rereading it in the future if I have time. I appreciate you writing to me on this matter.
