What would/did you do if/when you suspected something worng was with a seemingly "perfect marriage"?

B.A. Paris It would depend on how well I knew the person concerned and how wrong the marriage was going. If he/she was a close friend and I thought domestic violence was involved, I would probe gently and hopefully get them to confide in me, or in someone else. If I didn't know the person, I would perhaps talk to a mutal friend about my concerns and take it from there.

After I read what your book was about, it was hard for me to start to read it. I knew it would be dark and disturbing. When you finish writing for the day how do you get back to normal everyday life without revisiting it constantly? I really ended up enjoying it in the end but there were times when I had to put it down and walk away for a bit.
