How do you deal with writer’s block?

Amanda Uhl I'm a fast writer, so for me writer's block doesn't stop my writing...it slows it down. I never quit writing or else I would never get a book written, especially when I have a deadline looming. When I'm not sure what to write next, it is usually because I haven't thought through the plot sufficiently. I may stop writing for 30 minutes to think about it. But I'll always come back to the manuscript right away and keep writing. That's the secret to finishing a book.
