Is there a particular process you follow when writing your books? Your characters are always so well developed and a genuine pleasure to read. I was wondering if you have any tips/ favorite authors that inspire you?

It's hard to answer this one. For me, the characters come alive very quickly and it's almost like they are sitting behind me whispering their story as I write. My number one tip is to always read. Read every single day. It makes you a better storyteller and helps you envision character. Think of your favorite characters and ask yourself why you like them, why you're drawn to them, then try to flesh out your own.
