Hey Robyn, this Izzy from Miami. We met down here when you came to Books & Books in Coral Gables. It was a pleasure meeting you. My question is; are you in a different mind frame when you write woman's fiction then when you write romance? Or is your writing process different? Thanks for your time ^_^ Izzy

Not a different frame of mind, but my focal point is slightly different. One thing to remember about my books -- my romances will always deal with significant women's issues in the story and my women's fiction will always include a romance -- it's a matter of emphasis. Romance is mostly about a couple (or two or three) coming together; women's fiction is mostly about issues that occupy women's lifestyle and peace of mind.

Hi Robyn, you are one of my favorite authors and I've enjoyed each of your books so far. I have 2 questions-I absolutely love the Virgin River series, will these books ever become a series on a Hallmark type of channel? And, I reached far back in the archives and read Mind Tryst. Oh. My. Loved it! Do you have another book out that is suspenseful like that one, or do you intend to write another thriller type of book?

The characters in your books seem so real. When I finish a book or the series is over, I feel disappointed. I want to know what happens next! Do the characters always end up as you expected when you start writing a series? Has there ever been a character that turned out different from your original plan? When you are writing and developing your characters, do they feel like friends or family to you?
