What made you write books?

Thanks for your question! I've always loved reading, especially romances. While I was in grad school and working in the lab, romances were my escape when I got home at night. After I graduated, I moved to a new city to start a job, and I was lonely away from my friends. I heard about National Novel Writing Month (which is every November) and I thought I'd give it a try. As soon as I started writing, I was hooked! The rest, as they say, was history :)
