Reader007 asked Liz Lipperman:

What software (Word, other word processing format) do you use to write or do you use a typewriter? I ask because with computer software, it seems easier to edit while writing. With typing, at least you can actually see how the story looks on a real page.

Liz Lipperman Hi. Thanks for the interest. I actually write longhand and then dictate to a Word file using Dragon Naturally Speaking. (I am a nurse by profession and never mastered fast typing skills.)I have to transfer to the computer soon after I write the scenes since I am writing so fast I can barely read my own handwriting. Transferring to a blank page and editing (Dragon isn't perfect) is my first real edit, and because of it, I usually don't have many changes to make when I am actually finished with the manuscript.
